Liquid-cargo customs clearance at Dighi Port
Motumal’s service coverage at Dighi is for liquid cargo only. Our approach begins with the exact product, import or export direction, proposed terminal, vessel timing and handling arrangement. Share the liquid-cargo file before booking or arrival so responsibilities and outstanding requirements can be established early.
Confirm product and handling suitability
The proposed liquid product needs to fit the actual terminal and handling arrangement. Confirm the named facility, product acceptance, intended transfer route and any required storage or receiving arrangements with the relevant operator. Supply the product specification and safety information early so unresolved handling questions can be addressed before the vessel window.
Prepare the liquid-bulk file
Send the commercial invoice, bill of lading or available draft, product specifications, SDS and COA where applicable, expected quantity, vessel ETA and receiving plan. Identify any differences in product descriptions, quantities, origin or document versions before customs preparation advances. Product information and the receiving arrangement need to be ready together.
Reconcile the quantity and receiving plan
Identify the quantity and unit stated in each document, the relevant measurement basis where supplied, and any outstanding survey or quantity records. Agree who will confirm the latest figures and receiving readiness. Changes to a parcel quantity, product description or document version should be reviewed alongside the customs file and the planned liquid-cargo operation.
Keep the next action clear
Customs preparation, assessment, release and the physical movement of liquid cargo involve different parties. Agree who will supply missing documents, confirm product requirements, approve the working file and arrange receipt of the goods. For a liquid-cargo export enquiry, share the product and proposed handling route at intake so the procedure, documentation and service scope can be confirmed.
Start your Dighi liquid-cargo discussion.
Send the liquid product details, import or export direction, planned terminal, available documents and target dates to admin@motumal.com, or call our Mumbai team on +91 22 4027 9999. We will establish the proposed customs scope and the information needed for the next step.
Use the pre-arrival readiness checker to organise the first discussion, then review the Motumal Standard for how document review, exceptions and human review connect through the clearance process.
